Facts: The State of Oregon recognizes

no other states conceal carry permit!

To carry in Oregon you must have an Oregon License. The Oregon Concealed Handgun License is currently valid in 22 +/- additional states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont and Virginia. Oregon laws are subject to change. It is the responsibility of the Concealed Handgun License holder to verify any of the above information.

Utah, Arizona & Florida will issue a Concealed Firearm Permit to Non-Residents. These Permits are valid in over half of the United States. This is a great benefit for all law-abiding citizens who frequently travel across Country. If you travel to or through 40 +/- different States, these "Multi-State " CCW Permits are valid through Reciprocity Agreements or Recognition per State Laws. Because Utah, Arizona & Florida are "Right to Carry " States you do not need a valid reason, nor do you have to prove that you need protection. Utah will honor a permit to carry a concealed firearm issued by another state. Of the states that have formalized reciprocity or recognition with with Utah, Arizona & Florida there are some states that will only accept the firearm permit so long as the permit holder is a resident of Utah, Arizona or Florida. It is the responsibility of all Oregon, Utah, Arizona & Florida permit holders to know and understand the applicable firearm laws of the states within which they plan to visit or venture.
